Market research software that measures instead of guessing

Flair measures demand, pricing, competitors and reviews for a market from real data. Online market research with no guesswork.

What the tool measures

Market research comes down to four questions, and Flair goes and finds the answer to each one instead of inferring it.

Demand
Monthly search volume for the market and how it has moved over twelve months. It is the one figure that says whether anyone is actually looking for what you want to sell.
Pricing
Prices as charged by merchants, along with the share of items resold identically from one seller to the next: a market where everyone resells the same product is not won on the product.
Competitors
Who already holds the first page, on which terms, and what a visitor costs in advertising. A low cost per click does not mean weak competition: it says what the visitor is worth, not who you are up against.
Customer reviews
Real reviews of the products and brands already in place. This is where you read what the market is missing, and therefore which angle is still open.

How it works

  1. You describe the idea in one sentence, in your own words. “I want to sell insulated water bottles” is enough: there is no form and no category to pick from a list.
  2. The tool goes and finds the figures from search data providers, merchants and review sites. You watch what it is looking for while it looks.
  3. You get a dashboard with commentary, then a full PDF report. The figures come from the raw data; the assistant explains them, it does not write them.

Measured, never estimated

This is the difference everything else rests on. Ask a language model for a search volume and it produces a plausible, well-formatted, wrong number. A decision made on that is a decision made on nothing.

In Flair, no figure on the dashboard is produced by the AI. The data is collected, the dashboard is built from it, and the assistant reads it afterwards to comment on it. When a source does not answer, the tool says so instead of filling the gap.

The verdict follows the same rule: below one hundred searches a month, a market cannot come out as workable, however good the rest looks.

Frequently asked questions

How much does market research cost?

Run by an agency, anywhere from a few thousand to several tens of thousands, over several weeks. Flair is free to start and returns its first figures in under a minute. The two do not answer the same question: an agency goes into the field, Flair measures what is already observable online.

How do I validate a business idea?

Start with demand, not with the product. If nobody is searching for the problem you solve, no amount of execution fixes it. Then look at price levels and at what existing customers complain about: that is where the room left for you actually shows.

Is online market research reliable?

It is worth its sources. Search volumes come from advertising platforms and are rounded into bands: the tool flags this when it happens, rather than passing rounding off as a stable market. Prices and reviews are collected from merchants and review sites, as of the date of the analysis.
